Today we’re featuring Alexis Garcia, Inventory Control Warehouse Clerk, as this quarter's Employee Spotlight. We asked her some questions about her time at AER, as well as life outside of work.
1.What is your role at AER Technologies?
"I do inventory control and there are a lot of different roles I do within that. For example I transfer, I pick, I check our units to make sure they are not damaged, and I triple check all of our work."
2. How did you get started in this field?
"I first started in data entry and then about two years ago I switched over to inventory control."

3. How long have you worked at AER?
"I've been here 8 years and it will be 9 years in May of next year!"

4. What is your favorite part of your job?
"My favorite part is transferring radios. For example, we had 400 radios to transfer today and I did 300 of them in less than two hours and I loved it."
5. How has your career grown over time since working for AER?
"My career has grown a lot since working here and I have a lot of knowledge. I love trying new roles and tasks and once I succeed in those areas, I always strive to move forward and take on the next challenge. I've learned so much here and I want to continue moving up."

6. What has been your biggest accomplishment since working here?
"My biggest accomplishment is the knowledge that I have here and how quick I am. I'm very proud of how fast I can do transfers and just get things done."
7. What advice do you have for someone else starting out in this field?
"I would say never give up on yourself, keep pushing forward, and do the best you can because you can do it. Never say you can't, just keep going and keep moving."
8. How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
"I love to be with my kids! We will play Fortnite or play board games or watch a movie together and it's the best."
