Today we’re featuring Alisha Huizar, Quality Control Inspector, as this quarter's Employee Spotlight. We asked her some questions about her time at AER, as well as life outside of work.
1.What is your role at AER Technologies?
"Here at AER I am a Quality Control Inspector. Some of the things I do within our programming department are perform visual inspections, work with the recertification process on products according to the manufacturers specifications and quality standards. I also Perform flash-programming of all audio and cluster related products and rotate stations throughout the department as needed."
2. How long have you been with the company?
"It will be three years in September!"
3. What is your favorite part of your job?
"My favorite part of this job has to be the flexible hours and all of the friends I have made along the way."
4. How has your career grown since working for the company?
"From starting out in inventory control, as a picker, then learning all I could working on one of our transfer stations, I decided to move next door onto the programming department. It has given me a more of an advantage in the work place in the aspect of becoming even more tech savvy than I already was, as I come from a Secretarial/ Data Analyst background."
5. What has been your biggest accomplishment since starting here?
"My biggest accomplishment would have to be becoming even more flexible and well-versed in this fast paced work environment to keep up with demand for our valuable customers, so they can consider it done!"
6. How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
"I enjoy taking long walks down Main Street USA at Disneyland with my Fiancé, traveling to new places, visiting wineries, and above all else, spending time with my two dogs Brian and Gomez Addams."
