Today we’re featuring Brian Magana, Inventory Control Clerk, as this quarter's Employee Spotlight. We asked him some questions about his time at AER, as well as life outside of work.
1.What is your role at AER Technologies?
"I am an Inventory Control Clerk and I am also the JLG operator. We take things from production and turn it into our inventory. We seal it, stock it, and put it away in our mezzanine. Right now we are working on a recall project where we are getting a lot of back orders and we are fulfilling them as they come in."
2. How did you get started in this field?
"I was just drawn to AER because I liked the idea of working with remanufactured parts, especially car audio and clusters. I thought it was really interesting."

3. How long have you worked at AER?
"I started here in March and I instantly really liked it."

4. What is your favorite part of your job?
"I love that there are so many things to do and the fact that it’s fast paced makes the day go by very quickly. It pushes me to do the best I can while maintaining my efficiency and accuracy. It’s been a challenge, but a nice challenge."
5. How has your career grown over time since working for AER?
"Getting new certifications, scissor lift, JLG. I came in as a picker/stocker and now I’m basically a trainer for a lot of the people that come in."

6. What has been your biggest accomplishment since working here?
"My biggest accomplishment is becoming someone that people can come in and rely on. They can ask me questions and I am able to help. I like being able to help others and get us all to the same goal a little more smoothly."
7. How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
"I like to go on hikes and spend time with my dog and my wife! We just love to spend time outside and go to the park and the beach."
