In this edition we are featuring Cory Menshouse, Technician III, as this quarter's Employee Spotlight. We asked him some questions about his time at AER, as well as life outside of work.
Cory Menshouse joined AER in August of 2024 as a Christie Digital server technician and has since transitioned to AER East’s go-to resource for quickly learning the technical ins and outs of our existing contracts to allow duplication of production at AER East. A Veteran of the United States Army for 20 years, Cory performed duties as a Military Intelligence Systems Repairer and a MQ-1C Gray Eagle Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) repairer. He retired with the range of Sergeant First Class.
In his free time, Cory enjoys shooting pool and Bass fishing. He recently earned second place in a church fishing tournament and caught the biggest fish of the day! As for the boat, you guessed it, he enjoys fixing those too.
What is your favorite part about working at AER?
The people.
What AER accomplishment are you most proud of?
Getting Mitsubishi line up and running. Figuring out how to fix one of the big issues that has been plaguing us for some time.
How would you describe your team at AER East?
Everyone is dedicated to the job. Everyone pulls together when behind the 8 ball and does what it takes. Similar to the military, everyone has individual roles but pulls together to get something done.
What about your future are AER most excites you?
Visiting Brea and helping Continental (now Aumovio) achieve their business goals.
