Today we’re featuring Daniel Murillo, Customer Service Supervisor, as this quarter's Employee Spotlight. We asked him some questions about his time at AER, as well as life outside of work.

1.What is your role at AER Technologies?
"My title is Customer Service Supervisor and my main responsibilities include making sure customer service runs smoothly and helping out wherever needed! I just love this company and wherever I can plug into, I will go ahead and do that."

2. How did you get started in this field?
"I knew someone who worked here and he said that AER was hiring for radio testers, so I came by to drop off my resume. I ended up getting interviewed on the spot and was then hired for a customer service role instead."

3. How long have you worked at AER?
"I have worked at AER since 2008- so almost 17 years! I have been in my current role alone almost seven years."

4. What is your favorite part of your job?
"My favorite part of the job is working with the customer service reps and the relationships that I have with them. It's nice feeling like I have an impact on the people I work with."

5. How has your career grown over time since working for AER?
"I started in customer service for a year and then I became Dealer Contact for about a year and that was great because I learned so much there. That's how I became really familiar with the lab, shipping, and login. Then I moved to sales for about six years and then became the Customer Service Team Lead and then finally became the Customer Service Supervisor, and that's where I have been ever since."

6. What has been your biggest accomplishment since working here?
"I would say continuously challenging the reps and having them push themselves in a positive way. Our reps right now have stayed with us for a long time and I think that is an accomplishment."

7. What advice would you have for your younger self starting out in this field?
"Just continuously learn more. Pick up more tasks and learn as much as possible from other people."

8. How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
"Before I was always staying busy and planning trips with Danielle. Now it's all about my pups! I can't do anything without my dogs and we mainly focus on them."

Please join me in expressing our heartfelt gratitude to Daniel for his outstanding efforts and dedication.
