Today we’re featuring Jonathan Ibarra, AER’s Shipping and Receiving Supervisor. We asked him some questions about his role at AER and life outside of work.
1. What is your role at AER Technologies?
Shipping and Receiving Supervisor. That covers the shipping process of all of our products, whether it goes FedEx or UPS, and I ensure that all of my employees are checking the product quality daily and that everything is going out in a timely manner. For receiving, I make sure all my employees are receiving new product, that nothing is broken, and then transferring it to inventory control.
2. What is your favorite part of your job?
It's waking up everyday and knowing I'm going to make a difference and help with the process.
3. How long have you been with the company?
I'm going on a year in November.
4. What drew you to working here?
Being in the car industry and looking for a family-oriented company that cares about the employee. I have always been into cars and I find it a hobby. I actually work on my own cars too.
5. What kind of cars do you have?
I have a Hyundai Genesis and Acura Integra.
6. What is one lesson that you learned from working here?
Caring about your work everyday and ensuring the quality and customer service. It's important to make sure the customers are happy with the product.
7. What has been your biggest accomplishment in the last quarter?
Changing the processes that were used here at AER and improving them. Also just constantly looking for new challenges.
8. How do you like to spend your free time outside of work?
Other than working on my cars, I like to go for hikes, go to sporting events, and go to concerts.
