Today we’re featuring Meagen Skelton, Technician for Christie Servers, as this quarter's Employee Spotlight. We asked her some questions about her time at AER, as well as life outside of work.
1.What is your role at AER Technologies?
"I am a Technician for Christie Servers. I troubleshoot and repair Christie servers for our Antioch location."
2. How did you get started in this field?
"Back in 2010, I decided to join the Navy and they said I was really good with electronics, so I decided to focus on that more and go to school for that and pursue it out of the Navy as well."

3. How long have you worked at AER?
"I started here back in the end of November/ early December of 2023."

4. What is your favorite part of your job?
"I really enjoy the work that I do and the people that I work with! It's mostly stress-free and it's not too far from home."
5. How has your career grown over time since working for AER?
"We have a new hire and he has been training with me and even within a week I've been able to train him enough for him to work pretty independently."

6. What has been your biggest accomplishment since working here?
"Being able to learn new things about these servers that I work on! I started with zero knowledge of them and I've really picked up everything quickly and now I can take on more responsibilities that are helpful to AER, like setting up the ESD/ all of our work stations over here."
7. How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
"I enjoy hiking, swimming in the pool, and traveling. I am visiting San Diego next month!"
