Today we’re featuring Vivian Lee, Electronic Test Specialist, as this quarter's Employee Spotlight. We asked her some questions about her time at AER, as well as life outside of work.
1.What is your role at AER Technologies?
"I am an Electronic Test Specialist and I really enjoy my job," says Vivian. In the words of her manager, Peter Grisenti, "Vivian serves as an integral part of Production Line 15, where her commitment to excellence and attention to detail have significantly contributed to our team's success. Her adeptness in managing tasks efficiently ensures that our production line operates smoothly and meets our targets consistently. In addition to her primary responsibilities, Vivian extends her support to Production Lines 1 and 5, showcasing her versatility and willingness to assist wherever needed. Her adaptability and quick learning abilities have enabled her to seamlessly transition between different tasks, demonstrating her commitment to the overall success of our operations."
2. How did you get started in this field?
"I used to own my own seafood restaurant and my sister-in-law worked at AER and then I decided to come join her and I've been here ever since."
3. How long have you worked at AER?
"15 years!"
4. What is your favorite part of your job?
"Definitely my coworkers. I love the people. Everyone is so nice and friendly and we are a very close family."
5. How has your career grown over time since working for AER?
"Over time, I have learned how to work in every area of the production department."
6. What has been your biggest accomplishment since working here?
"I love learning new things. I pick them up very fast. So the number of skills I have picked up over the years working here is a big accomplishment. I have done every task, including trouble shooting, programming, inventory, receiving, etc."
7. How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
"I like to try and see new things! I like to vacation a lot and travel to different countries. I have a trip planned Japan in August. My favorite vacation to date was Europe, specifically London."
