Achievement of the Highest Industry Quality Certification Establishes Tier One Status

The  company  announced  its  official  certification  to  the  IATF  16949 standard placing AER at the apex of automotive industry quality standards. With demand for electronic remanufacturing  service  on  a  steady rise,  it has  become  essential  for  automakers  and  suppliers  to have a tier one vendor option available. With the acquisition of the IATF 16949 certification, AER now holds equivalent quality standards to the nation’s top original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s).

“With  the  remanufacturing  market  becoming  increasingly  saturated  with  electronic  service  centers that do not qualify themselves to the same standards as the OEM’s we serve, it became clear to us that it was time to obtain the highest possible quality certification to set the standard in our industry” said Kim Quick, CEO of AER Technologies. Quick added that “Our customers demand quality that meets or exceeds that of new, and that’s what they’ll get with AER remanufactured product.”

IATF 16949 is the International Standard for Automotive Quality Management Systems. The standard was developed by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) and approved for publication by the International  Organization  for  Standardization  (ISO). Certified  organizations demonstrate a process-oriented quality  management  system  that  allows  for  continual  improvement, defect prevention  and reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain.

AER  Technologies,  Inc.,  established  in  1947,  takes  pride  in  being  the  highest  quality  source  for automotive electronics remanufacturing and circuit board rework in the United States.
