On March 27th, 2018, AER will have the pleasure of hosting the Motor & Equipment Remanufacturers Association (MERA) CFO and Commercial Executives Council Meeting. MERA, the remanufacturing and sustainability division of auto industry advocate MEMA, is a network of some of the most prestigious remanufacturers, suppliers, universities, and professional service firms dedicated to advancing the remanufacturing industry. Every year, MERA holds a series of meetings, giving members the chance to network while discussing industry trends, common issues, and legislation updates.

In this year’s meeting, Kim Quick, Chief Executive Officer at AER, will join the speakers’ panel as they discuss the rise of electronics remanufacturing, along with opportunities, and challenges the industry currently faces. The meeting will be an all-day event at AER’s Brea facility, consisting of a presentation, speakers’ panel, and a tour of AER, followed by an evening trip to the Los Angeles' Staples Center to enjoy a Clippers game, and cap off the day’s meeting.

Manufactured Again Certification

Just last year, AER joined the MERA council, and proudly certified under MERA’s Manufactured Again Certification, a quality assurance program for the remanufacturing industry that holds remanufacturers to the same quality standards as manufacturers. Essentially, these standards mean that product must meet or exceed OEM standards. Manufactured Again is a promise to consistently deliver high quality products to our end-user, every time.
