# Introducing Aptiv

Delphi Automotive recently spun off its Powertrain segment to form [Aptiv](http://www.aptiv.com/our-journey), a company focused on becoming “mobility’s leading software.” According to the company’s [website](http://www.aptiv.com/our-journey), “Aptiv brings unparalleled capabilities in solving the complex challenges associated with safer, greener and more connected transportation.” From software capabilities to advanced computing platforms and networking architecture, Aptiv’s software and systems are essential in the growing sector of autonomous vehicles.
"Mobility has the power to change the world, and Aptiv has the power to change mobility," said Kevin Clark, the firm’s President and CEO. "Aptiv is built on a strong foundation of industry firsts, and has the knowledge, capability, and agility to win with traditional OEM customers and emerging mobility players. It is a remarkable time to be in our industry, and we are very confident about our future."
Aptiv will present its line-up of new mobility solutions at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this month in Las Vegas.
