NEW YORK and BREA, CA, September 26, 2019 —The Cancer Research Institute (CRI) and AER Technologies have partnered to raise vitals funds for the advancement of cancer immunotherapy research. AER has committed to providing financial support in addition to raising awareness of immuno-oncology through shared digital resources and company-wide participation in CRI’s annual global awareness campaign, Cancer Immunotherapy Month.

“AER is thankful for the opportunity to give back by both financially supporting the Cancer Research Institute and indirectly serving those in need. Cancer impacts all our lives. When our customers transact with AER, they help support our commitment to the Cancer Research Institute,” said Kim Quick, chief executive officer at AER. “AER believes it is our corporate responsibility to embrace helping those in need in researching a cure for this devastating disease. As our business grows, so does our financial commitment to helping others.”

“We are honored that AER has selected the Cancer Research Institute as its charity partner, and are grateful for both their financial support as well as AER’s help in raising awareness of the urgent need to fund laboratory and clinical research leading to better, immunotherapy-based treatment options for all cancer patients,” said Jill O’Donnell-Tormey, Ph.D., CEO and director of scientific affairs at CRI.

Through its commitment to corporate social responsibility and being a leader in good corporate citizenship, AER demonstrates how companies and their employees have the power to create long-lasting social impact. In choosing to collaborate with the Cancer Research Institute, AER, its employees, and its customers are able to help more people affected by cancer across the world.
