In an effort to convert skeptics of driverless cars, Waymo, Google’s self-driving car affiliate, is collaborating with Mothers Against Drunk Driving and The National Safety Council, amongst others, to create an ad campaign designed to advocate for AV safety.

Waymo and others argue that this ad campaign, labeled “Let’s Talk Self-Driving”, will help illustrate how self-driving cars can make public roads safer by reducing the amount of accidents and fatalities associated with distracted and drunk driving practices.
